Our History
It all started in 2004 as a cozy outdoor night spot, which quickly became popular amongst locals. For the next four years, it remained a local favorite for nightcrawlers.In 2009, however, the owners decided to change direction and open Alibaba as a day beach bar. Taking advantage of its excellent location, Alibaba offered great quality coffee and snacks to its visitors
The owners ran the business until 2014, when they decided to hang their shoes and sell the business to its current owner and operator, Savva Sourasis.A native to Kos, Savva transformed the business and enhanced customer experiences over the years. Savva had a vision of promoting a healthier lifestyle and diet and was the first to introduce acai bowls and various other items on the menu.
